Dungeon Events appear in side rooms that branch off main corridors. They are identified by a ◆ diamond icon on the minimap and a golden glow visible from adjacent tiles. To find all Events on a floor, explore every dead-end corridor and side branch before using the Shovel to descend. Events are commonly placed at corridor termini — any corridor extending 3+ tiles without a branch is worth investigating fully.

Evolutions transform a Base Card weapon into a stronger evolved form. You need: (1) the Base Card with an empty Gem Socket in your deck, (2) the specific Item Card ingredient in your deck simultaneously, and (3) access to a Gem Station inside the dungeon. There are two versions of Hollow Heart in Vampire Crawlers. The standard version is an evolution ingredient.
